Chess is a scientific game and its literature ought to be placed on the basis of the strictest truthfulness, which is the foundation of all scientific research. W._Steinitz

Journal
This section of the Chess Archaeology website is being remodeled.  This will be the third incarnation for the Journal section (the first was a site update page, the second was the Q&A page).  This new version of the Journal will house the soon to be released quarterly webzine, The Chess Archaeology Journal.  This will act as the main portal page to new articles, research, and game collections, as well as being home to a properly run Q&A section (my apologies to those who had sent in questions over the past calendar year which never got posted).
The Excavations section will soon house the small discoveries and act as the day-to-day page for small postings (larger more robust content will be published in the Journal).
Improvements for the Library and Museum sections are also being developed.
